This is perfect for the wide-screen Garmin GPS units. It fully protects the unit and is very easy to open in a hurry when you need to. It does not cause the power switch to slide on or off ( - it doesn't have anything near the power switch.) I haven't used the slots for memory cards yet. I highly recommend it!
This is a perfect protector for my Nuvi 780. It takes up minimal space, is easy to insert/remove the 780, and can even be opened, placed on the dash with the 780 inside, and used as a temporary "mount". Well worth the price!
Fits perfectly for 765T even though Garmin website only suggests the slide in leather case. Excellent price.
I bought this case based on a number of other reviews and after looking at what's out there currently. I have a Garmin 750 Nuvi. This case fits it very snuggly and it easy to use in the most portable situations. It is a preventive measure against dropping the Garmin (and that's happened) when your holding it. The lid flap of the case is magnetic so it stays closed. Within the lid flap there are pockets to hold two SD cards. The case has cutouts where the usb wire can connect, a headset can connect, and where you can turn on/turn off the Garmin without removing it from the case. It's small enough to put into a jacket pocket while out in the field away from your vehicle. And lastly a belt loop on the outside of the case. That's really handy. It's leather and quality of workmanship appears to be good. It's made by Garmin. It doesn't come with the original purchase of the 750 Nuvi so it's another purchase down the line and it's not exactly inexpensive. It has worked for me so far.
This works GREAT with my Nuvi 750. You can access the power button, screen, and head phone jack while it's in the case. The magnetic closing works great. A+
I reviewed a few cases before i bought this one. I wanted something that was safe, but also convenient. There were some cases that had reviews suggesting the gps could easily slide out, and that would be no good! And then there were others that seemed to be more secure, but added a level of inconvenience for usage. This one seemed to provide a good balance.
I think the best possible case is probably still not designed (i can think of some enhancements for all the products i searched and looked at). Also, even though it uses good material, i think these cases are generally priced much higher than what it should take to manufacture them. These are the reasons i give this only a 4 star. But from what i could find in the market, this seems to be the best product.
its a very nice and solid piece. its a carrying case, so thats why I am guessing it doesnt have a plug hole for power. it would be nice if it would be mountable. I strongly recomend getting a scratch screen protector sheet for it. its a great buy and a great price.
The only case to buy for wide screen Garmins. Custom fit, cutouts for on/off switch and for headphone in case you want to use as MP3 player. Highly recommended.
This case is fantastic. It fits any model of widescreen nuvi from the 200w up to the 800-series. I use it to protect my 760.
Not much else to say. This really is the best case on the market. Garmin did a great job designing and building this product to match the nuvi series. If you are a nuvi owner, buy this.
THIS CASE IS AWESOME FOR THE GARMIN 880. I BOUGHT IT FOR MY SISTER AND IT FITS PERFECTLY. WHEN OPEN YOU CAN STILL USE THE HOME CHARGER WITHOUT TAKING IT OUT AND YOU CAN ALSO TURN IT ON AND OFF WHEN IN THE CASE. THE MAGNETIC CLOSURE WORKS GREAT AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. I HAVE THE 660 AND MY CASE IS NOT AS NICE AS I HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT OF THE CASE TO USE. I WOULD DEFINATLEY SUGGEST THIS CASE TO ANYONE THAT HAS THE 800 SERIES.
