I love this GPS! It is very easy to use and very accurate in its directions. The one feature I love the most is the way you can click and drag the map, to see the area nearby your present location, but too far away to show up on the map.
Many times, when I have been caught in a traffic jam in an area that I am unfamiliar with, I tried to take a different route to get around the traffic, and the GPS tells you to make a u-turn. With previous GPS, I couldn't drag the map around to see if there were other routes to my same destination. This GPS has that feature and it is aweome!
Another feature with the dragging maps is you can click on the map and set that point as your destination. This is great when you know where the location is on the map, but don't have the actual address.
I use the GPS, even when I know where I am going, because it will give you your estimated arrival time. Very handy feature!
Don't know why the price on Amazon is so high right now? $325. I bought mine about 6 months ago for only $200???

My Garmin is exactly what I'd hoped for. No problems and a great product. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband. We have tried it, but not in a vehicle yet. We love how it says the directions. I bought this one because of other people's reviews and ratings and I think I made a great choice.

I bought this item from Amazon on July 2008. By March 2009 it stopped working. I wouldn't buy this product again.

Despite the fact that it can take a while for the satellite to find me sometimes, I love my Garmin Nuvi! Its extremely easy to use and very easy to read. The best thing about it is the size. SMALL! Fits perfectly under my sit, in the glove, or in my bag when not in use.
I used to use a Thomas Guide back in the "olden" days and would frantically flip through the maps while stopped at intersections trying to find my way. I also printed out directions from certain websites but sometimes its hard to read and drive at the same time! The Nuvi solves all these problems now because I'm guided by a voice and visuals. One thing though... you'll have to get used to her language: If she says to turn left in 100 feet, plan to turn at the next street. Sometimes I miss the street because think 100 feet is farther than it actually is. Doh!

Awesome product for the money. Only complaint is that the antenna does not always pick up your signal and we have to reboot to get it sometimes.

This was bought as a gift for my husband, who does like it a lot. Complaints are: battery does not last very long despite how long it is charged and up to a full charge; maps are not updated. This was a gift given Christmas 2007 and even roads built and finished within that year were not in the program. Updates of maps are ridiculously expensive.

There have been many times the Garmin nuvi 350 has frozen up on me. I'll turn it off and on again hoping it will reboot but it doesn't seem to work. I can't even tell you how many times this thing has left me stranded. The last and final straw was a few days ago when it left me high and dry in the Yankee Stadium area of the South Bronx. Do yourself a favor and buy a compass instead.

So far, so good. I keep trying it out as I drive to places I already know, just to see if it "agrees" with me. And it doesn't very often! I have had instances of where it seems to be taking me in the opposite direction from where the map says I should go (I still don't trust the GPS 100% so always back it up with a map study first) so I am worried about when I am actually somewhere that I NEED it and DON'T know my way. I think it is probably just taking me another way to the same destination (I hope!). It is easy and intuitive to use, however, and I enjoy changing the voice that guides me - from English, to Australian English, to British English, to Spanish, etc. I like the feature that says the name of the street where I will turn; another GPS I used did not have that feature. Takes a while to acquire the satellites when I first turn it on.

We've had our nuvi 350 for two years now (bought 3.2009). It's a great product when it works but it recently completely stopped acquiring satellites, a common problem, it seems, with Garmin's "flip-up" antenna design. A $14 plug-in external antenna (10 feet of wire with a magnet on the end for mounting to your vehicle's roof) from Amazon.com solved the problem but I still fault the nuvi's design weak spot and would not recommend this product or any similar ones.
