Works great and easy to use. Wish it would have come with house charge, had to order separate.

Completely satisfied with the Garmin nuvi 750. Unit does all I need it to do and is very user friendly. Other family members have purchased this unit after using mine. A good value!

Haven't yet tried it on an unknown stretch of highway, but did travel to CA Bay Area and loved the way it always had me in the correct lanes well ahead of freeway changes - Bay is infamous for leaving highways from the left as well as the right and even though I've made the same trip a couple of times a year for the past umpteen years, my stress level was reduced 95% just to know for sure about the next change.
I've currently no need of blue tooth capabilities, so I think I purchased the right one for me. The "announcer" doesn't always know the correct pronunciation of a street name, but it's close enough and clearly spoken.
I'd have given this unit the maximum number of stars except that it doesn't come with a complete manual. You must download from the manufacturer and one, my computer wasn't capable of getting that far into pdf files and two, I'd want it printed out, not saved to computer or disc, and I'd not want to waste the money on ink and paper.

Best thing since sliced bread..I will never, ever, ever, get lost again! I will recommentd this to all my family and friends. I love the functionability of it..so easy to use!

We just completed a 3500 mile trip from our home in upstate New York down I-95 and all over Florida. This device was great. We used it to find lodging for the night. Look up what was at our stop point, pick a unit , call while on the road and make reservation. We used it to find golf courses, restaurants and many places to visit. Glad we bought it.

I got this for my wife. I have a NUVI 200. This was less expensive and has many more features.
I highly recommend the NUVI line of GPS to all drivers.

I read many reviews on this model before I purchased it. I was concerned about some of the poor reviews, but I have not experienced any of the issues the other reviews stated. I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

An excellent product. Improved visibility of the screen because of brightness. The previous arrow pointing North is not on the screen anymore, which is the opposite of an improvement. There are too many menus to drill through, and some settings are not retained after the unit is turned off.
The recommended add-on of a plastic anti-reflection sheet causes patterns to appear (moire type) when I am wearing polarized sunglasses.

I took my brand new Nuvi 750 on a ten hour round trip between upstate NY to Cleveland, OH. During that trip, the unit froze up nine times and had to be restarted each time using the sliding power switch. I was disappointed, but remained hopeful Garmin tech support could help solve the problem and get the unit working reliably. My first email to them yielded a canned suggestion to download and install the available software update using their online updater. I did that, got the unit started again, and my very first attempt to plan a route resulted in a complete, unbreakable freeze. The display just hung on one image and not even the power switch could break it loose. I ended up having to pack it back up with the image still being displayed. My followup email to tech support went unanswered for a good 24 hours, by which time I had already gone ahead and shipped it back for a refund. The best I can say for the whole experience is that Amazon could not have been better about the return. They processed it quickly and refunded everything, including the overnight shipping I had paid for when I ordered the Garmin. Bottom line: the Garmin Nuvi 750 was unreliable and disappointing, but Amazon minimized the pain of a bad purchase as much as could be hoped for.

I did my homework before I bought and it paid off. This gadget even exceeded my expectations because even though I knew it had a POI (points of interest) function I didn't realize how handy this was until my first long trip. Being able to pull up the nearest hotels, gas stations, and restaurants that are ahead of you while traveling along the interstate is great. The 750 comes loaded with so many POI's that I have yet to find anything missing. Be sure and read the manual(on-line, full version)at the Garmin website and play with it at home extensively before using on a trip and you will be rewarded. I've had no problems except for the fact that ocasionally after a boot up it will not begin the text to speech function and I have to go to the language page and re-enter the voice selection, but it's only happened a couple of times and the fix is simple enough. Of course the service from Amazon was great as usual.
